6 Series [Official] BMW 6 Series LCI

The BMW 6 Series is a range of grand tourers produced by BMW since 1976. It is the successor to the E9 Coupé. The first generation BMW E24 6 Series was available solely as a two-door coupé and produced from 1976 to 1989, when it was supplanted by the larger BMW 8 Series (E31). When the 6 Series nameplate was revived in 2004 for the second generation, the BMW E63/E64 6 Series, the coupé was joined by a convertible body style. The third generation F06/F12/F13 6 Series debuted in 2011 as a coupé and convertible, and a sedan variant known as the "Gran Coupé" in 2012. When the F06/F12/F13 6 Series ended production, the "Gran Coupé"/coupé/convertible models shifted into the more upmarket BMW 8 Series (G15) nameplate. The fourth generation 6 Series, the G32 6 Series, debuted in mid-2017 and is offered only as a fastback body style to complement the BMW 5 Series (G30) sedan/wagon.
I just noticed I DON'T like the new shape of the headlights. Well I don't dislike them, but I think the pre facelift's were better.
The blinker area is a massive improvement though, making the overall look better than before. But still, the new blinkers with the old headlight shape would have been best imo.
I think the new headlights are a huge improvement over the pre face lift versions. The area between the bottom edge of the headlight and the recessed area for the indicators were poorly resolved. The new version is much better, at least the edge of the headlights follow the shape of the light cluster inside.

I think they should have just blacked out the blinker area on the blue car and be done with it. The new shape is weaker, softer.

The rims on the cabriolet and the M6 SP version rims pictured are the most attractive rims for the 6 series cars.

Mhh not sure about the headlights, it seems that they made a compromise that ended up them looking a bit weak.

Almost there :)

BMWBlog will soon have them, I will post them here if nobody else does (which I am sure will happen ;) ).

Apart from the front end, the biggest change has to be.......... the side indicators (above the front wheel arch). Definitely didn't see that coming!

The 6 series GC is the best looking BMW currently on sale so this mild update is good. I am slightly disappointed they didn't make more of a change with the headlights for the coupe only slight graphic changes and the back lights look like no change. The interior has new IDrive wheel and new more posh looking leather and wood
