Yeah it's a shark alright!! The car even has the same color as a shark, and the matte finish just makes it a perfect match.

What a car...damn!!

No. on the second actual show picture.
Can't remember who I was talking to at the time but I was showing executives from a major film studio.
Although BMW's will feature in the upcoming Mission Impossible : Ghost Protocol which features the Vision Efficient Dynamics/i8 aswell as other BMW's. Interest in BMW's products has also taken a step further to the silver screen.

The Vision Connected Drive is also gathering interest as product placement as BMW is locked into three additional projects supplying automobiles and logistics for a major studio apart from MI-GP's (paramount pictures)

So it's very likely you will get to see the Vision Connected Drive in a film for which I read the synopsis and treatment and sounds like a very interesting concept , definitely original. Think of the originality of Inception but in the real world.

I did get to meet Gwyneth Paltrow and she will be doing something promotional for BMW too.
Mrs Scott will not be very happy.

Look out for a major BMW promotional push on Mission Impossible : Ghost Protocol later this summer.

Horatio @ BMW Blog is on this video too.

Very exciting, this BMW Vision CD Concept.

I love the side surfacing, with the accentuated shoulder and sill bonelines. The rear lamp treatment is also delicious. As BMWs' are generally stylistically driven by their architecture, the proportions are absolutely spot on.

Deduct some of the frivolous show car gimmicks, add a conventional A-pillar + windscreen and this will hopefully be a good indication of BMWs' future design language. Very modernistic and sharp without being fadish.

I am over behind Adrian Van Hooydunk.

Seriously, this is like the third or fourth time (!!!) you are saying you are on some picture!!!
If you like saying that so much, post a pic of yourself or say what person you are! It seriously looks like you're some 10 year old playing hide and seek or something...

Also, Scott, weren't you the one saying to me that Klaus Draeger is not with a C but with an S???
You might as well check your own spelling for the man in charge over BMW AG design!! It's not Adrian. And it's not Van Hooydunk. Both names are wrong.

umm. Stop saying you're in every pic then :usa7uh:

I mean, it would be nice to know the face that goes with the name, but if you don't want us to know, well.....

PS, we have a very pig picture thread here on GFC.com. Check it out, and post a pic of yourself there. Don't be shy now.

Who took the shots? :) Cause I'm in them while talking to Girard...

Have you interviewed Đukec as well? I heard he was there. Not sure about Blasi ... was she even there, or it was Đukec time to shine? :D

That's Jochen Paesen - a very talanted designer, who designed BMW Vision EfficientDynamics' interior. :usa7uh:

umm. A couple of members here have met me and know my face that is why I ask for anonymity.

The funny thing is I've met you several times (even talked to you), but you still don't know you've actually met me. ;)
You sure are a nice character, T. :)

Yes I think you were the one who I said I had to kill now because you knew too much?:D

I didn't ask you anything. A just said it, and then observed the blush. :usa7uh:

But you are not the only one who I made him blush.

Once, it was during Herr Panke's mandate, I spoke to him @ IAA, and he thought I was one of the project management staff for the car on a display. But unfortunately his PA (or PRP) stopped him instantly before he was able to say too much. :eusa_doh::D

Of course, Dukec was great. Btw, he was the lead of the design team for the concept. Juliana wasn't there because BMW wanted the focus of the car to fall on the technology, NOT design.

Yup, that's Jochen, we're buddies :)
