F-Pace [Official] Jaguar C-X17 Concept is now F-Pace Crossover Reality

The Jaguar F-Pace (X761) is a compact luxury crossover SUV made by Jaguar Land Rover. It is the first Jaguar model in the SUV class.
Review of the F-Pace by Autocar, it looks like they are impressed by the way it drives. I certainly do like the looks.

Didn't care much about this car when it was first introduced (just like I don't care about any other Jag), and yup...still don't care very much about it

Good impressions so far. I would buy this car for the exhaust note alone! It's a hot looking SUV. My only gripe with it is the high window line and window controls very close to the A-pillar.

Land rover should watch their backs as this will make the Evoque appear overpriced. The F-Pace is mighty hot:

Today I saw this black beauty on my neighbours driveway! It's the second F-Pace I have seen this week. Earlier this week I saw one in the blue/purple launch colour with 21 inch rims. The GLC is no longer prettiest in its class. Jaguar has made an absolute looker.

Anyone who wants a Range Rover Sport but cannot afford it, will flock towards the F-Pace. It looks like a £60,000 car despite being priced like a Q5, GLC or X3. Word on the street is that it drives very sporty and if the infotainment is good enough then I don't think many will hesitate to sign the dotted line.

Jaguar F-Pace SVR spied getting ready to fight Porsche Macan Turbo

A supercharged 5.0-liter V8 with at least 500 horsepower is lurking underneath the hood.
The F-Pace S with its 380-hp supercharged V6 engine is going to lose the range-topping model status later in the year when Jaguar will take the wraps off the SVR. Spotted here as a prototype riding on massive alloy wheels with wider tires, the V8-powered crossover is not shy to show off its quad exhaust tips. At the front, those extra layers of camouflage are masking what will be a pair of very large air vents providing better cooling for the supercharged 5.0-liter engine.

Set to go up against the Porsche Macan Turbo, the F-Pace SVR will source its powertrain from the F-Type SVR. It remains to be seen whether the go-faster crossover will have the coupe’s full 575 horsepower or if it will be dialed down for this new application. Even if it won’t match the muscle of the high-performance coupe, the V8 will likely have at least 500 hp, which will be a healthy 120 hp over the S version.

Taking into account the F-Pace S needs 5.5 seconds to go from 0 to 62 mph (100 kph), expect the SVR to complete the task in the mid-4s. For the sake of comparison, a Macan Turbo fitted with the performance package needs 4.4 seconds to cover the sprint.

While the F-Pace S has a top speed limiter that kicks in at 155 mph (250 kph), Jaguar will likely loosen it up on the SVR version to enable the potent crossover reach a higher velocity. Its rival from Stuttgart can hit a maximum speed of 169 mph (272 kph) when specified with the aforementioned optional pack.

Jaguar will probably host the F-Pace SVR’s public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, but an online reveal might occur a few weeks sooner. It will have to face competition coming not just from the Macan Turbo, but also from the unreleased Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 and the rumored Audi RS Q5.

I finally had a quick drive inside the F pace. It is surprisingly good to drive, the steering is precise, responsive with good weighting, the cabin is quiet as well. But that interior...is shocking, horrible fit, finish, cheap plastic materials everywhere. Despite how nice the car drove...I would not spend close to $100k for one.

Nice. That's great to know that it drives as good as the reviews say. It's an SUV with a high level of sex appeal and massive boot.

Is the interior quality really that deplorable? What are the worst areas?

One of my customers has one, I've been for a few drives with him in it, I don't think the interior quality is as bad as you make it out to be, it's not Audi or Lexus level quality but it's good enough.
