A3/S3/RS3 Officially official: 2013 Audi A3

The Audi A3 is a small family car (C-segment) manufactured and marketed by Audi AG since September 1996. The first two generations of the Audi A3 were based on the Volkswagen Group A platform, while the third and fourth generations use the Volkswagen Group MQB platform.
A3 is the best looking in it's class, definitely better han the 1er. And also better than the new A class, which looks like a Van in the front.

Still, it may be th best looking, but it won't be he best car. It's a reshaped VW Golf after all. 1er is the best driving car in it's class, no doubt :) still, who ares if it drives good when it looks so ugly?

Between the new A3, new A class and 1er.....I would pick NOTHING.

They dont really have the cars there, right? I mean on the spots? They take the car pictures in the studio, and they they mount them in photos taken of landscapes?

That would be the easy thing to do yes. But in reality, these marketing people fly all over the world to take pictures of their new cars. And then they severly modify them with photoshop again, rendering the trip to the end of he world completely pointless again...

I'd like to see pics of a white one with sunroof....
Yeah, that too. I bet it will look so slick in a sportback version with the panorama roof.

Or even, the S3 would look sick I bet. The body really fits an S3 version.
I hope they make an S3 pretty soon, and dont wait to long.

Is that Cape Town?

Yes, all of these A3 pics are in and around Cape Town.

When I saw this pic of the A3 moving swiftly on the right hand side of a solid white line (coming off Chapman's Peak in to Noordhoek) in Cape Town, I had a little chuckle to myself ... traffic violation in progress :D

I like it! I hope Audi make an S-TDi version with about 230-250HP, with some insane torgue figure :-) would be nice.
VW released new EA288 diesel so please Audi develop this engine further and make an S3 TDi.

I'm sorry but this is ridiculous. This is nothing more than a facelift and an extremely boring and stale design. BIIIIGGGG YAAAAWWWNNN.

Oh wow....Amsterdam.....look how pretty guys. A great city with a great looking new A3 that looks anything but a facelift!

First time I think I see pictures of a new car taken in The Netherlands?? Keep it up Audi ( looks like they might have done so because Holland is a very important market for the A3....)

Wow! The A3 is so high-tech (full-LED headlights,...) and luxurious (S-Line seats,...) for a car in this segment. The 1 Series feels cheap, but in reality it costs so much.

LOL, just the perfect reply coming from you!
Let me assure you there's more important things than LED lights and an E brake....let's just wait until we see how the A3 drives and all. If it's as boring as the old one, it can have all the gadgets in the world, and look pretty as it does.....it wouldn't matter...

The interior is one of the best i have seen from a german brand since a long time, i hope next gen Audis will build on it.

I agree with you here.
But, my only problem are the round air intakes... I dont know why, but I dont like them. It looked cool on the TT.. but it just looks wrong here... As in the A-class. Its like chromed wheels, kinda bling bling? My opinion only of course.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
