A3/S3/RS3 Officially official: 2013 Audi A3

The Audi A3 is a small family car (C-segment) manufactured and marketed by Audi AG since September 1996. The first two generations of the Audi A3 were based on the Volkswagen Group A platform, while the third and fourth generations use the Volkswagen Group MQB platform.

LOL, just the perfect reply coming from you!
Let me assure you there's more important things than LED lights and an E brake....let's just wait until we see how the A3 drives and all. If it's as boring as the old one, it can have all the gadgets in the world, and look pretty as it does.....it wouldn't matter...

That might be true for you but other people mightn't care one bit about how well something handles at the limit. Looks, quality, gadgets and gizmos might just float their boat...... does that make you right and them wrong?

Personally I don't think you can place your opinions or values on someone else.

It's hard to believe that this is an interior of a hatchback. Audi have truly taken the cockpit of a utilitarian commuter car to the level of an Audi R8 or Porsche 911. Everything about the dashboard is so well meshed together that you inside of the car is as captivating as the front with its LED light show. The last time I saw this design revolution in a segment was when Mercedes introduced the first generation CLS which had a cabin with contours that makes the heart race and soft.

Good design doesn't have to be expensive and the Audi A3 is not.

At first I wasnt a fan of the new rearlights. But now, I absolutely love them. Looks much better here, then on the A6.

And yeah, the model differens a lot, from the current A3.

The previous generation interior hasn't aged at all in my opinion...
You are right. Its a great looking interior.
And so is the 1st A3. I had two A3's, one 00 pre-facelift and one 01-facelift, and I just loved the interior of the facelift.

The interior from my old A3 2001:

As I already mentioned in the polls, Kudos to Audi the A3's interior, dash, seats and perceived quality is top-notch! I openly admit that I just love it! There is no affiliation to any VW product in the VAG Group whatsoever it's unique-premium.

(I no this is not the poll thread but that's where M-B missed the spot, it lacks the deep richness of the A3's cabin) ...IMO

:t-cheers:

Huge credit to Audi's foresight for that fact and to a large extent the same is true for its exterior, in fact all recent Audis resist the signs of ageing.

IMO it is the same case with Alfa design. My interior is looks better than many other more recent cars IMO.

I'm liking the new A3 more and more. Are those cobra seats standard for S-Line they look fantastic! They look like they should be in a more expensive car!

I was hoping the A3 3 door would get pilarless doors. Surprised the A1 has but the A3 hasn't!

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
