That's good to know. Hopefully BMW will improve sensated to feel more genuine as currently it's akin to fake stitching added to the dash and centre consoles on economy cars. Actually I think the foamy soft touch plastic on BMW dashboards feels very good to touch.

Yup, that stuff is absolutely top notch! The soft touch plastic stuff needs to be EVERYWHERE in the G20 3er, BMW. So including the tunnel and whatnot. The tunnel of the current 3er is made of discarded Coca Cola bottles!

It's what they are doing now as the iconic BMW features are being interpreted by other manufacturers.
The idea is to use a conventional shape but have the L icon to be more prominent and more three dimensional that when lit you know it is a BMW.
