They sound terrible. Spoken with any accent other than the King's English they sound like "I am" and "I am one".iM and iM1 make the most sense.

Until the BMW Group CEO says "We are making an iM"BMW M Ceo: „We would never use an i on an M”.

Quite an ugly render. I think NK has more potential than this. And we’re off.

The rear is too generic. Like a Pontiac Revival.
With what’s being hidden? I expect a rear that is totally a BMW iconic USP like the Original Turbo. Two badges on each side.
They are returning to that classic shark snout look with a new interpretation of the four headlamp and thinner kidney grille.
It makes sense for this car as a icon for a new
Movement to showcase what has gone before. We have had the M1 Hommage and the M Next. Now it’s the Turbo’s turn.
i8 size.Quite an ugly render. I think NK has more potential than this.
The headlights seem to come from an Opel, the side mirror doesn't fit with the design and the kidney grill probably won't be that small. But the overall shape is not too far off from the spy shots.
Is this 2er coupe size? 4er? 8er?
Hahahah... you have my vote. How about i8M&M ?![]()
Not surprising that the Neue Klasse cars will have some Opel similarities since both brands are doing kind of a retro design for the front end.Quite an ugly render. I think NK has more potential than this.

This sought of reminds me of the 1980's Honda CRX with its angle rear window.![]()
Something like this would’ve been cool. Definitely has M1 vibes.

I do kinda like this style of car for a BMW. Nice and compact and an attention seeking design.

“Street Cred?”The CRX was hoooot and had stress cred.
So are the NEXT line abandoned in favour of NK?
