X7 [Spy shots] G67 BMW X7

The BMW X7 is a full-size luxury crossover sport utility vehicle manufactured by BMW. It is BMW's largest and second most expensive SUV in its line-up. The X7 was first announced by BMW in March 2014. It was officially unveiled on October 17, 2018, with pre-orders being taken online. The X7 has been available at dealers since March 2019.
Hmmmm why not?
Indeed. Surfacing and details interpreted from the iX3 which will spread across the full X Portfolio.
Current X5 and X7 are visually distinguishable.
The new X5 bodywork comes from the E53 in its beefed up arches and adjoining character line.
I wonder if X7 will get the X shaped light bars that will come with the X5?

Well this one isn't. Far from it, as it's a cheap G07 chop.
well these are early spy shots so a lot of the details are still hidden. we’ll see how the car shapes up in the future. the front end might be close to the actual car but the rear end is pure imagination at this point in time haha.

I think the front end will look very similar. I think the back end will be more boxy and elongated than this render. I do notice the lack of clam shell truck.

It's definitely a good start with this render of the front.
I wish the grill was more like your avatar photo, similar to what we will see on the next gen x3 and x5. I like the shark nose look, but that might not fit the x7 as well.

I see some hints of the Neue Klasse design language here.

Although the heavy camouflage and some temporary parts used by BMW create the perception that the X7 will come with split headlights, if we look at some details, I see a high probability that the G67 X7 will come with the Neue Klasse design language.

The point I marked shows that BMW uses temporary parts and deceptions to confuse.

It will be dissapointing if every new BMW has the same face! Crossing my fingers for an imposing Cullinan-esque front end for the X7.

Based on what we know, it’s same face for 3er, 5er, X3 and X5 for now. 7er and X7 retain their individual look.

Let’s see what happens with the iX6 and 1er/2er…

I wonder whether X7 will receive razor thin “L”shaped lenses like the XM? Or the new X5’s “X” shaped lenses? And the option of Crystal units?

The rear looks like it will receive the same horizontal strip introduced on the Vision X.

The present X7 also has this design element, where the line curves up to the lights.

An autoweek rendition uses much of the design from the spy photos, but even that has design differences to the prototypes.

The secondary lower lights are slightly too high up, and need to be dropped down a bit more. Also the lower bumper design looks to be different on the prototypes.

Yes BMW could add a neue klasse front on the X7, and what are seeing so far are just fake parts to throw people off. But why would BMW go to all the trouble of design and manufacturing new split level lights different to the current model just to throw onto a prototype? Why not reuse the current lights if they are temporary? So I feel we are still looking at a split set of lights on the new model.

I am also pretty sure the current prototype design is the non-M line version, as we can see through a vent/hole in the bumper just like the current X7.
