Looks gargantuan. I wonder how they designed the dual headlights this time. They always surprise us, whether in a good or bad way.

Athletic? The current X7 looks as athletic as a Timberland boot! Doesn't matter though because it's a full sized 7 seater. Third row room is secondary to design.

What do you mean? Then all current BMWs from the 2 series to the 7 series are all facelifts and not new cars because they are all based on clar. Facelifts are what the upcoming GLE and GLS will be, the X5 and X7 are new cars with billions worth of R&D. Based on the CLAR, but definitely not facelifts.

A billion dollar investment would require a completely new platform, engines, etc. Brands don't spend that much money on a new car these days.

Yes, today this is what many would maybe call a new car, but in reality it is a facelift, though a heavy facelift. This is the savecutting reality unfortunately…
