A magnificent piece of filmmaking - delightful, disturbing and morbidly funny. Clever too. 8.7/10A monumental waste of time.
I couldn’t agree more. Saw it on opening night, blew my socks off.Dune - Part Two
9.5/10.0 - a cinematic spectacle that does justice to its billing as an epic - sci-fi or not. Nearly 3 hours feels like half that.

Finally got around to seeing it. So good. My only regret was not seeing it on an IMAX screen.Dune - Part 2 a.k.a. 'It's all about the bass'
It has to be a trilogy.I hope Villeneuve eventually does an adaptation of Dune: Messiah. I'd love to see a conclusion of sorts.

I've only seen two movies on an IMAX screen and that was over 10 years ago: The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. I didn't think it added anything significant to the visual or the aural experience. With the latter, that's more of Nolan issue regarding his particular brand of sound mixing.I'm really not a fan of the IMAX experience, but then I've not seen either in a normal screen. I watched Oppenheimer in a smaller local cinema and I didn't think the audio/visual experience suffered (overall) much for it in terms of scale or volume -- and the seats are way better in my local cinema.
