I hope they step up the level of quality inside. On Friday I went to the local VW dealer and sat in the current T-Roc and the latest Tiguan and I was extremely impressed with the interior of the latest Tiguan. The interior build quality is taken a step up compared to the previous model and also the Gollf. It has a very nice interior and the leather seats were extremely comfortable and supportive. The central screen is huge and has nice bright colours and good graphics. It has alot of space inside and I am 184cm and sat behind myself with about 5cm to spare. It even has carpet felt inside the bottom of the door cards. The Tiguan also looks good on the outside and could be a great next car for my family.Interior will likely continue to be full of cheap plastic. The Karoq on the other hand feels premium-ish in some parts.

The T-Roc interior is not bad but you can see and feel its got some hard cheap feeling plastics on the doors and dash. It also looks a little dated inside compared to the Tiguan. If they refresh the interior and give it a higher quality look and feel then it will be a winner.
The quality falls of the cliff If you sit in the back. The door cards feel very cheap in the back, and they’re hard plastic.I hope they step up the level of quality inside. Yes you right I did notice that the top of the doors felt hard in the back and the door trim was also very minimal. The back seats were also very comfortable and the car had a decent climate control setup at the back as well with nice panoramic roof. I wanted to go to the Skoda dealer last Friday to check the Kodiaq but the dealer was closed. I will try and go this weekend if possible to check that car.The quality falls of the cliff If you sit in the back. The door cards feel very cheap in the back, and they’re hard plastic.
In the front it’s very luxurious, I agree. The leather is soft and the carpet inside the door cards is something even the GLE doesn’t have.
The Kodiaq is still a little bit better.
