Ha! If it ends up looking anything remotely like that I'll eat my WRX STI hat! Front overhang is waaay to short to house a Boxer engine ahead of the front axle in there. Unless they've embarked upon a fundamental shift in mechanical packaging.
That said, it does look rather terrific. Looks like I may have to hang on to the old girl for a while longer.
Very very nice and well designed car.
OMG!!! This car is so perfect!!!
Mercedes CLA AMG, Audi RS3 Sedan, BMW M2 GranCoupé = GAME OVER
They have to build it exactly like this. Low, wide, extremly short overhangs, and get a good (functional) interior. I think I have found my new favorite. Short time of love for the S3 Sedan. Well at least the german one is close to the concept and now exists, I hope the WRX will also stay close to concept.

Take a chill pill. It won't look anything like that and happily Subaru doesn't listen to fanboys, because even they know how full of shit fanboys are.
Yes, and it is because Mercedes doesn't listen to fanboys that their currents cars looks ugly as hell: SLK, SL, CLA, A Class, A Class. And you also better take a chill pill, because next 7 Series will murder the new S Class.
A more appropriate name for this forum would be "German Car Fans".
You definitely need to take chill a pill, because I haven't got a clue what are you implying.
Oh and btw, take a chill pill because you're the only one giving too much shit about a car that hasn't been launched and you damn well know it won't look anything like the concept.
Looks good, but remember it is a concept, bet my ass it will be watered down. Which is good I like my WRX more sublime and as a wagon. Maybe for a STI, but keep WRX more down to earth.
Looks at this thread: http://germancarforum.com/community/threads/official-mercedes-benz-concept-style-coupe.44176/
It seems I havn't posted anything, but I like the car very much and had the same thoughts as now about the WRX. Look at the other comments by BMW and Audi fans, all very positive, and now looks at the hate. That is nothing new. It is normal to get excited at a concept that prefigures a future model. Then comes the question to what extent will the prodcution car disapoint. The A3 Sedan hasn't. The CLA has. The BRZ has (not too grave but still). Now I wish the WRX will disappoint the least possible, as the concept looks perfect to me (considering imossibility of mirrors, lights and door handles).
