Has the E63 ever had great ride quality? Why not air? Ride is terrible

Is that coming or a pipe dream?I guess there really is no need for them to upgrade the E450 to a 435hp E500. The E450 is sorta hot roddish already.

No. E450 stays as far as I know.Is that coming or a pipe dream?
Respectfully, that looks an infinitely worse.I can't help but simply can't accept 3 things at the W214:
1.) Why the hell does Mercedes leave the lower parts of the rear in black plastic on newer models? Why?
I know, they want to look it more sleek, but it looks terrible! If you look at it from the side, where everything is body-colored in the front and sides, but not in the back, it's totally inconsistent and asymmetrical and cheap (as if it's some kind of base model, like back then, when they still had black door handles and mirrors).
2.) Also the cat eyes in the bumper...horrible. I really hope its an safty-EU-standard issue, otherwise i dont know whats happening with Wagener...
3.) And those awful rear lights with star-shaped graphics. It seems totally childish to me for such a serious and business-like car.
I changed all 3 things.
Got rid of the cat eyes.
I put the rear lights in the bichromatic style, like the W124 mopf2 had.
I changed the graphics so that when the lights are on, they resemble the typical ''stepped'' headlights of Mercedes from the 70s-90s and thereby preserve some Mercedes heritage.
And no more connected lights across the entire rear.
To me, the car now looks much more consistent, understated and elegant.

Sorry but those tail lights remind me of either a Lexus ES or Toyota Corolla and makes it look worse at the back.and from the back:

Isn't it the same engine without the AMG tune?E450 seems to be the sweet spot in this segment. It is just a little bit slower than CLE 53, basically the same price fully loaded and on top of that better interior build, airmatic, more roomy, practical, etc. I am still gettin over the stupid black surrounds in the front but hey, nobody's perfect.
Thank you for making it a camery and ruining everyone’s dinner. I hope you persue a different dream than professional photoshoper.and from the back:

I do however think the lower body section in colour looks good.

To be honest I am not a big fan of the stars either but I guess they trying to be different. Personally, I would be happy they go retro and return their design to the ribbed lights like the old cars.i think that the bihromatic light design in the W124 was before this corolla, but yeah i understand what you are saying...but that could be arrange different with a different graphic, but please not this ridiculous stars
These were made for a purpose. Light technology today negates the use of ribbing. Adding it as a stylistic element might also contribute to more drag. That said they may be able to incorporate this via some fancy light graphics which may look better than the ‘trying too hard’ stars…To be honest I am not a big fan of the stars either but I guess they trying to be different. The MB designers did incorporate the ribbing design with LED light tubes and stacked rear light designs on the previous C, E and S class range, which I much prefer over the current design trend. These were made for a purpose. They were primary designed for aerodynamic purposes to help reduce the collection of dust and snow on the tail lights and make them easier to see. Stylistically it would add some presence and nostalgia. These were made for a purpose. Light technology today negates the use of ribbing. Don’t think they were designed for aero, just for snowy conditions where the ribs were still visible. They were primary designed for aerodynamic purposes to help reduce the collection of dust and snow on the tail lights and make them easier to see. Yes you right and these tail lights look fantastic and were much better than the current W223 shape tail lights.
