To the contrary, covered in cladding, so very disguised.

Attractive proportions courtesy of the MSB-F matrix.

Otherwise (save the front door glass, rear window, windscreen and the top of the roof), little if anything is disclosed.

This is gonna be one of my new favorites ...

I hope so. Previous Flying Spurs looked like the front, mid and rear of the belong to different cars. The design and body shape didn't marry well IMO.

Resting on the VW Phaetons' "D1" underpinnings was not advantageous to the series I & II FS aesthetic. Porsches' MSB-F matrix will be of great benefit. As we witness on the new Conti GT.

I think I'll like this better than coupe for sure. Even with the new platform the coupe still has some of the squished bug profile in it. The extra length here will help greatly. The wide front end on the coupe will work better here also.

Fingers crossed that will be the case. I found it aesthetically challenged because it has the curved nose of a coupe but the chunky rear of a sedan. The Cayenne is off course the poster child of odd look.

What will happen in the future when the models from Bentley and Porsche overlap? Will Porsche be positioned lower like in the case with Cayenne and Bentayga? Will Porsche agree to be the second fiddle, especially when the platform is developed by them?

I'm curiously awaiting comparisons between the Panamera and new CGT. On paper the Bentley appear capable of causing upset. Steering response and throttle sensitivity are the only two areas where it might be purposefully tuned to be more relaxed and athletically inferior to the Porsche.

Even if future Bentleys and Porsches share underpinning, customers won't see Porsche as less favourable. Think of Bentley and Porsche as VW and Seat. While VWs have an edge in interior materials, sound insulation and suppleness in ride quality, SEAT customers overlook those advantages for a slightly more engaging drive and lower price.
