I still believe they don't want to be a part of this empire.
I've always dreamed that Porsche and Mercedes-Benz would make a go of it. Not sure how they both feel after the W124 E500 project of so long ago.

Great. It's doesn't resemble an oval shaped loaf of bread lik predecessor. The upright nose and overhangs are spot on.![]()
The proportions are perfect, great move to switch platforms. We know the interior is going to be a knockout. What is there not to like here?

Abandonning the Pheaton platform does wonders for proportions doesn't it?It will obviously be wide (the Conti GT/GTC measure 1964mm in width) and it appears to be relatively low as well. The A-pilars are nicely raked and the C-pilars/rear window flow elegantly into the decklid.
It's not a Flying Spur, it is a Flying Fück for the competition.
