The BMW M5 is a high-performance variant of the BMW 5 Series marketed under the BMW M sub-brand. It is considered an iconic vehicle in the sports saloon category. The first M5 model was hand-built beginning in late 1984 on the E28 535i chassis with a modified engine from the M1 that made it the fastest production saloon at the time. M5 models have been produced for every generation of the 5 Series since 1984, with occasional gaps in production (1995 to 1998, 2023 to 2024). Official website: BMW M
A very detailed search on Google (other search engines are available) which took a very tedious seven seconds revealed it to be between 18th and 20th May.

My suggestion would be to post such pics in thumbnails, if you really feel they are neccessary to prove a point, so that let's say a BMW thread isn't full of MB photos.

The 2014 BMW M5 facelift will be offered with an optional Competition Package bringing an additional 15 bhp (11 kW).
Aside from the extra horsepower the 2014 M5 LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) will also feature a tweaked suspension, a redesigned M steering wheel, tailored MDM application, bespoke 20-inch alloys, as well as a different sports exhaust system boasting black chrome tailpipes.
With the Competition Package, the 2014 BMW M5 facelift will be able to deliver 567 bhp (423 kW) from its twin-turbo V8 4.4-liter engine which should enable the high-performance sedanreach 62 mph (100 km/h) in less than 4.4 seconds.

Leaving aside the fugly color, this car still rocks IMO. The changes BMW is proposing make total sense for me. I like the new grille slats, the new coronas, and would like the nose to be like the LCI 5er, though I doubt BMW does this.
I hope they change the leather around the shifter for a trim insertion like on the standard 5er.

The leather surround stays but there will be updated Individual options . Especially for those that like the contrast options available with the M6 and X6M respectively.
Will I get the updated M5?
Not yet anyway my current company car(s) amongst prototypes are the BMW Active E and a full optioned MINI PACEMAN S ALL4 in white with black roof - without a doubt the PACEMAN is a real head turner in the looks dept and it just looks defined in its muscular athletic appearance. I parked across an Évoque one day and they gave the PACEMAN more glances they even to stop and look.
I even found some Tourists from Japan taking photos of them beside it. I always ask why do they insist in peace signs?
After the PACEMAN I will move on to the BMW i3.
