2 Series [Spy Shots] 2021 BMW 2-series Active Tourer Mk2

The BMW 2 Series is a range of subcompact executive cars (C-segment) manufactured by BMW since the year 2014. The 2 Series was created when BMW spun-off the 2-door models (coupé and convertible) of the BMW 1 Series into a separate series.

The bonnet seems much higher than the outgoing model.

And the difference is night and day! Well done indeed, BMW.

I also don't seem to find a hood shutline running across the hood like the previous model. Which is excellent, because they simply ruin an entire design for me so hideous they are...
But the quality of the pic is so low pixel it's hard to see any shutline, so I'll hold my judgement.

In this case of the current 2AT, I agree that the shootline was particularly visible and in part annoying, perhaps due to the notorious fall of the hood

I think the hood line will be even worse on this model, looking at the prototypes. ?

I don't like this type of cars but I like the design very much. The front looks special. Much better than the 1er and the 2er GC. Even better than the RWD 2er coupe.
Cars in this segment aren't pretty. However the experience from the cabin is great. I have sat inside the new B-Class.

It's makes the A-Class feel like a coffin, feel airer inside than an X3 but has a significantly smaller foot print. Getting in and out is perfect because the seat height is neither too high or low. A great car if don't care about swag or street cred.

When is the reveal?
It seems that it will be soon, because that leak is from a brochure if I'm not mistaken, but basically I also want to know when ...

As I said in my post above, the fact of having the front all higher, will prevent that if it is thick like the Panama canal it looks like in the previous one, which formed a descending wedge towards the grill much more vertical and pronounced than this .

Totally, I don't know if it's age or what, but even though we don't like them very much on the outside, sitting in them is just as airy, an immediate rest accompanied by relaxation, space and a lot of comfort compared to those that we like better.

SUV is what happened to minivan/MPV

Looking at the similarities in the grill region between the 2er and 7er spy shots, I think there is a good chance this is what the new 7er grill will also probably look like.
