M6 [Spyshots] BMW M6 Gran Coupe (Spy pics, Info & Impressions)

The BMW M6 is a high-performance version of the 6 Series marketed under the BMW M sub-brand from 1983 to 2019 (with a hiatus from 1990 to 2004). Introduced in the coupe body style, the M6 was also built in convertible and fastback sedan ('Gran Coupe') body styles for later generations. An M6 model was built for each of the first three generations of the 6 Series. Production of the M6 ended in 2019 and it was replaced by the BMW M8 (F91/F92/F93) in 2019. Official website: BMW M
Actually, the 6er GC looks more Aston Rapide / Maserati Quattroporte - sporty, sleek and elegant - opposed to Panamera and CLS which both looks 'bloated';)

Nah, the 6GC looks way better resolved than both Panamera and coke party CLS, but it's still miles away from the Rapide and Quattroporte. Miles

Do you see the different rims? The ones we see above are the 20" rims we already know from the M5 Sedan and the M6 Coupé. The M5 Sedan and the M6 Coupé have different 19" rims and these seem to be the special 19" rims for the M GranCoupé. They look like the 19" rims we see on the M3 Sedan. IMO all three 19" rims look better than the 20" rims. :(

Looks or size?

Looking at the 650 GC the performance figures are pretty impressive for a big and heavy car. If I recall very well the 650 is closer to the outgoing M5 in performance which suggests that the performance in this M6 GC will be amazing.

@levi - The Space Grau M6 Gran Coupe is actually on the new M specific wheels for winter use which was launched with the M5.
Along with more grip you get a much more stylish option rather than the winter wheels you were once offered on the E60 /E61 which differ in size from standard options. Spring will soon be in and back on to the brand new 20 inches.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
