X5 M / X6 M [Official] BMW X6 M Thread

The X5 M is the high-performance variant of the X5. In April 2009, the X6 M version was announced, with a 408 kW (547 hp) version of the BMW S63 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. The BMW X5 M and X6 M are the first vehicles from BMW M GmbH to have xDrive all-wheel-drive system and automatic transmissions, and are also crossovers as opposed to passenger cars.
Ohh and i know these pics are small..
But seriously someone needs to teach BMW how to take pictures

At least they washed the car before the shooting :D :D :D or I think so ..

Lousy press pics ... really

678 Nm in a torque conversion.

680 Nm imo is not pushing it. I was expecting, like J_M, around 750 Nm.
However, 555 hp is more than I expected. I was expecting like 520 hp max.
The car is a true beast and will kill all other performance SUVs....finally.

Anyone notice flared wheel fender arches on X5 but flat on X6. Whats up with that? or the whole fender itself is flared on X6? Need hi-res pics soon. Damn embargo.

I think they are flared at the same degree on both cars.

Those twins look so mean :icondrool :icondrool :icondrool :icondrool :icondrool
They will kick a$$

I can't wait to see them in high res, but afraid from seeing them in my rearview mirror :t-hair:

That engine is a massive - can't wait to see this car in action, or better - to see the next M5 with it  :D

amazing how shitty those press pics are..
and we always listen to all this talk of BMW´s market dep..
seriously.. talentless...

Some of our boys here..like wimmer could do waaay better than this..

I can't believe those rims, the 50i ones looks much better than those.I hope there's an option for a bigger more attractive ones.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
